On completion of the half-day programme, the delegates will be able to:

State the legal requirement affecting lifting gear and lifting machines; identify and use the correct methods of lifting; ascertain their duties and responsibilities when using mechanical handling equipment; prepare, select and design configurations for lifting and turning awkward loads; recognise the need and the requirement of a safe system of work and operate site craneage safely within their own working environment.
